Yesterday, we finally were able to graft our common apple tree . As you know, we already have a plum tree, two apple trees, a wild cherry tree, a pear tree and a cherry tree in the school orchard.
Pedro was so kind to come back and teach us how to graft this apple tree with an endangered old Galician variety called Tabardilha Vermelha. Hope we will have tasty apples very soon!! Thanks!!

Today we learnt with Pedro how to graft an apple tree and how orchard fruit is produced. However, due to the bad weather we couldn't do it outdoors, Anyway......we have learnt a lot this morning. Probably next week we will do outside!! We keep on learning through our project FIGHTING FOR A GREEN PLANET.
